Senior Asset Accountant

In this role, you'll:

You will lead the delivery of asset and lease accounting services, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organisational policies. 

You will oversee reconciliations, financial reporting, statutory disclosures, and audit requirements, while supporting month-end and year-end processes. 

Working closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, and project teams, you will provide expert advice on asset and lease accounting matters, resolve complex queries, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, controls, and financial outcomes.

About you

You have strong expertise in fixed asset and lease accounting, supported by sound knowledge of AASB 116 and AASB 16.

You are experienced in complex reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audit processes.

You combine strong SAP/ERP capability, analytical skills, and attention to detail to deliver accurate, compliant financial outcomes.

You hold tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, supported by a professional accounting designation such as CA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
