Join our Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) division, where you’ll be part of the Global Markets Sales team. We provide risk management products and services across Business Banking, supporting major corporate, government, and institutional clients. As a Senior Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering specialist Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate risk management solutions to a defined Business Bank client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell FX and Interest Rate Risk management products to Business Bank clients, meeting individual and team revenue growth targets.

• Provide risk management and hedging advice, along with economic commentary, to maintain and grow client portfolios.

• Develop new business opportunities and implement structured risk management strategies.

• Assist team members with deal identification, structure, and closure.

• Stay informed about market conditions and proactively respond to client needs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Bank and Global Markets products.

• Recommend and influence continuous improvement in products, processes, and systems.

• Resolve client complaints in line with Bank and Global Markets policy.

• Identify and mitigate risks to achieve business objectives.

• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ranging from treasury dealers to CFOs.

• Cross-sell other Global Markets or bank products and maximise referral lead sources.

What You’ll Bring

• Superior knowledge of financial services and Global Markets products.

• Proven commitment to compliance with regulations, policies, and processes.

• Sound understanding of corporate organisations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and public speaking.

• AFMA Tier 1 accreditation.

• Tertiary qualification in finance or a business-related field.
