Senior Consultant (DC Design & Automation)

Lead the Future of Supply Chain

This isn’t a typical consulting role. At TMX, you’ll be working at the centre of complex, high-impact supply chain transformations, shaping how some of the most sophisticated operations in the market are designed, optimised and delivered.

From large-scale distribution networks to automation-led facilities, you’ll work directly with clients to solve real problems, not just build slides. The focus is on outcomes, improving performance, reducing cost and delivering solutions that actually get implemented.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead distribution centre design and warehouse transformation projects


• Develop facility layouts, operating models and material flow solutions


• Assess automation technologies including ASRS, AMRs, conveyors and sortation


• Build capacity, labour and financial models to support client decisions


• Facilitate workshops and translate operational challenges into practical solutions


• Develop business cases, investment evaluations and implementation roadmaps


• Present recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive teams


• Manage project delivery to ensure scope, budget and quality objectives are met


• Collaborate across strategy, automation and implementation teams


• Support business development and grow existing client relationships

What You Bring

• Experience designing, optimising or delivering distribution centre solutions


• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, automation and material handling systems


• Experience developing business cases and supporting capital investment decisions


• Strong analytical, modelling and problem-solving capability


• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders


• Proven project delivery and client management experience


• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar design tools preferred


• Knowledge of WMS platforms and warehouse technologies
