Base salary will be in the range $104,616 - $113,920 + 17% super (HEW Level 7)
Join a collaborative and purpose driven team delivering impactful global experiences for students. As the Senior Coordinator, Global Experiences, you will play a pivotal leadership role in supervising a high performing advisory team, ensuring seamless processing of international applications, and driving continuous improvement across global mobility programs. Working closely with the Global Experiences Manager, you will contribute to strategic initiatives, including UQ’s participation in the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan (NCP) , while fostering an inclusive, responsive, and service focused environment that supports students to thrive in international opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead day to day operations of the Global Experiences team, including allocating workloads, setting priorities, and managing workflows to deliver high quality outcomes.
Partner with the Global Experiences Manager to operationalise strategic objectives, uplift service delivery, and strengthen assessment expertise across global opportunities.
Embed compliance requirements within student mobility processes, driving process improvements and reducing risk.
Provide expert advice on global opportunity assessments, including admissions processes, entry requirements, and relevant policy and legislative changes.
You are a collaborative and solutions focused professional with strong leadership capability and experience in student mobility or international programs. You bring a balanced approach of operational expertise, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
Relevant degree with subsequent experience in student mobility, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams, fostering a high performing and inclusive team environment.
Strong understanding of compliance, policy, and risk management within international or student programs.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
Proven ability to analyse information, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.
