A new cosmetic and skin clinic opens in Adelaide's eastern suburbs before Christmas. Three treatment rooms, a purpose built fit out, in a medical precinct alongside a dental practice and a day surgery, in one of the most affluent pockets of the city.

The owners are business people rather than clinicians, and they are clear about what that means. They are not going to tell you how to inject. They are hiring the nurse who will set the clinical standard, shape the treatment offering and become the face of the clinic.

There is a second site already in planning. Whoever takes this role is first in.

What you would be doing

• Leading the injectable side of the clinic from day one, anti wrinkle and dermal filler
• Consulting and assessing properly, building full face treatment plans rather than treating area by area
• Setting the clinical protocols and standards, supported by an established scripting and education partner
• Building your own book, with a marketing team behind you and a referral relationship with the practices in the same building already in place
• Mentoring and bringing on additional nurses as the clinic grows

What you need

• AHPRA registered Registered Nurse
• At least three years of cosmetic injecting, with a client base you have built yourself
• Confident across anti wrinkle and dermal filler, and comfortable being the most senior clinician in the building
• Strong on facial anatomy, patient selection and complication management
• Commercially switched on. Consultation, conversion and rebooking matter here, because you are building a book from nothing

The practical detail

• $50 to $60 per hour depending on experience, plus a commission structure that will be discussed openly at interview
• Full time, Wednesday to Sunday. Wednesday 9 to 5, Thursday and Friday 9 to 7, Saturday 9 to 5, Sunday 10 to 5
• There is flexibility on alternate weekends for the right person, so if the roster is the only thing stopping you, say so
• Start mid October to early November, ahead of the launch
