Senior Guidewire Architect - Australia and New Zealand

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Architect to provide architectural and technical leadership across Guidewire implementation programmes in Australia and New Zealand.

This role is responsible for shaping end‑to‑end solution architecture across the Guidewire platform, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and guiding delivery teams through complex technical decisions. You’ll balance strategic architecture with hands‑on design leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Acting as a trusted technical and architectural advisor to business leaders, IT stakeholders, and programme leadership.


• Leading architecture discovery and definition across Guidewire implementations, including solution design, data models, and integration patterns.


• Defining, owning, and governing architectural principles, standards, artefacts, and documentation.


• Ensuring architecture aligns with business strategy, enterprise architecture, security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.


• Creating and reviewing high‑level and detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams, and integration frameworks.


• Providing architectural leadership to delivery teams, driving technical decision‑making and resolving complex challenges.


• Mentoring technical leaders and developers, supporting architectural capability uplift and consistent delivery quality.

Guidewire Architecture Experience:

You’ll bring deep expertise across the Guidewire platform and insurance ecosystems, including:

• Strong understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Guidewire Cloud tools and services.


• Experience across cloud infrastructure, data architecture, data migration, reporting, analytics, and digital products.


• Proven experience designing insurance platform integrations within complex enterprise environments.


• Ability to clearly communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.


• Strong technical judgement, leadership presence, and decision‑making capability in large or complex delivery programmes.
