Senior Insights Consultant, Retail

You'll partner with leading retailers and manufacturers, helping them solve business challenges, identify growth opportunities, and make more informed decisions through data and insights.

By combining retail expertise, market intelligence, and analytical thinking, you'll deliver strategic recommendations that create value for clients while managing ongoing service delivery and account growth.

Key Responsibilities

Insights & Advisory

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.


• Identify business opportunities, risks, and market trends to support client decision-making.


• Develop and deliver high-quality analysis using Circana data and platforms.


• Partner with clients to understand business challenges and define solutions.


• Manage projects from briefing through to delivery and impact measurement.

Client Partnership & Account Management

• Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.


• Lead account planning and ensure delivery against agreed objectives.


• Proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and grow partnerships.


• Manage client expectations, priorities, and service delivery commitments.


• Drive client satisfaction through consistent value delivery.

Commercial Growth

• Support client retention, renewal, and revenue growth objectives.


• Identify opportunities to expand Circana solutions across client organisations.


• Lead proposals, commercial discussions, and sales opportunities where required.


• Maintain a strong understanding of the retail and FMCG landscape.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with consulting, analytics, product, and commercial teams to deliver client outcomes.


• Share knowledge, coach junior team members, and contribute to team capability.


• Lead by example and actively champion Circana's values and culture.


• Support onboarding and development of new team members.

People Leadership

• Set clear priorities and provide direction to direct reports.


• Support performance, development, and career growth through coaching and feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Retail, FMCG, Category, Insights, Analytics, Client Management, or Consulting.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into recommendations.


• Experience managing client or stakeholder relationships.


• Commercially minded with the ability to identify growth opportunities.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


• Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline (preferred).
