Senior MuleSoft Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MuleSoft Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise integration solutions. This role is responsible for defining integration architecture, establishing standards, and ensuring scalable, secure, and well‑governed MuleSoft implementations across client environments.

You will work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams, providing architectural leadership and ensuring solutions align with best practices and long‑term business and technology strategy.

Key responsibilities & deliverables

The Senior MuleSoft Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and overseeing enterprise‑wide integration solutions using MuleSoft. This role sets architectural direction, establishes integration standards, and ensures solutions are scalable, secure, and fit for long‑term use.

Key responsibilities and deliverables include:

• Define the end‑to‑end integration architecture and API‑led connectivity strategy, selecting and applying System, Process, and Experience API patterns for enterprise environments


• Produce and maintain high‑level architecture artefacts, including solution diagrams, future‑state designs, scalability models, and technical roadmaps


• Establish and govern integration and API standards, including coding standards, security policies, and API lifecycle management best practices


• Define and document security, performance, resiliency, and scalability guidelines to ensure robust and compliant MuleSoft solutions


• Provide architectural leadership and stakeholder engagement, guiding delivery teams, influencing technical decisions, and presenting designs to clients and senior stakeholders

About you

• 9+ years of MuleSoft development, design, and architecture experience


• Deep expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API‑led connectivity


• Strong experience defining integration architectures, governance frameworks, and standards


• Excellent client‑facing, communication, and presentation skills


• MuleSoft MCD Level 1 or Level 2 certification (required); Architect certification highly desirable


• Exposure to TIBCO integration technologies is advantageous
