The Opportunity:

You’ll work closely with a diverse, high performing team that embodies our core values and fuels our success as a Senior Engineer, Operations at Granny Gold Mine.

Reporting to the Underground Manager, you’ll partner with underground mining contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes. Manage and support construction and infrastructure projects that optimise underground production and enhance operational performance.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and support performance management for all reports.  Ensure performance objectives and targets are SMART and deliver the expected outcomes.


• Provide critical insight into contractor and project performance, ensuring early identification and effective management of safety, operational, and financial risks.


• Deliver regular updates and foster strong communication across underground operations, leadership, contracts, and key stakeholders.


• Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

 
What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, plus a manual driver’s license


• First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency is desirable.


• Demonstrated experience in contractor and contract management in underground mining


• Extensive underground mining experience in production, ventilation, projects, paste fill, planning and scheduling.
