About the Role
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will support the Model Activate & Analytics team within Pricing & Analytics. You will use actuarial methods, pricing insight and data analysis to shape pricing decisions for NICHE business and other products. Your work will help improve portfolio profitability, customer outcomes and business confidence in pricing changes. You will partner with product, portfolio, actuarial and analytics teams to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations. This role suits someone who enjoys improving models, processes and reporting maturity.
What You'll Do
Conduct price reviews covering technical analysis, demand modelling, optimisation, implementation and monitoring
Analyse portfolio performance and pricing outcomes to support profitable and fair decisions
Prepare clear written insights and updates for leaders, stakeholders and delivery teams
Manage stakeholder requirements and keep expectations aligned throughout pricing activity
Identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities across pricing processes and analysis
Support analytical solutions that strengthen team capability and customer-focused outcomes
What You'll Bring
Experience in general insurance, ideally across pricing, actuarial, claims or portfolio management
Knowledge of product, portfolio and insurance pricing concepts, including key business drivers
Skills in SAS, R, RShiny, Excel or relational databases, with Python, SQL or Spark valued
Understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, trend analysis and predictive analytics
Familiarity with tools such as Earnix Optimisation, Redshift, Databricks or Bitbucket
Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis to varied stakeholders
