Due to key projects and an ongoing workload, we are seeking a Senior Rolling Stock Engineer to join our Perth rail and mass transit team.  Performing a key role within the Rail team, you will lead and contribute to building of the Rolling Stock capability in Perth as well as across Australia and New Zealand

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Guide production of technical deliverables across Rail and Mass Transit projects

• Promote innovation and ensure the best engineering practices and design tools are applied

• Collaborate with other disciplines to produce high quality project deliverables for technically complex designs

• New build design/commissioning/operations

• Provide technical input across rolling stock maintenance strategy development and management, lease and Whole Life Cost model development and management projects

• Mentor engineers, supporting their career development

What can you bring to the team?

• Professionally qualified Engineer in a Mechanical field, however Electrical engineers are also required at the same level.  

• Ideally chartered Engineer with extensive relevant experience

• Solid Design and Project Management experience in the Rolling Stock rail industry

• Demonstrated success in guiding a team through the design phase of projects

• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
