Your Opportunity
We have an opportunity in a newly shaped Senior Servicing Specialist – Investment & Treatment Futures role in our Infrastructure Planning & Delivery group.
Reporting to the Manager Futures Servicing, the Senior Servicing Specialist – Investment and Treatment Futures plays a key role in the development of Futures strategy and guidance, providing the thought leadership on matters related to the strategic approach to future servicing for treatment, emerging technology, strategy integration, and economic value and trends to enable and progress the organisation’s strategic objectives and broaden the knowledge of emerging trends and issues.
The role focuses on creating, co-ordinating and delivering foresight and subject matter expertise on key topics related to treatment, emerging technology, contaminants, end of waste, strategy integration, and economic value and trends, ensuring that the strategic and future drivers for the Urban Utilities business are identified.
Some of your accountabilities will include:
Support the delivery of the Servicing Strategy to inform and translate corporate purpose, vision, value drivers & objectives as part of strategy development, applying functional expertise to test the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas and insights to support the strategy formation process.
Explore and develop activities in support of the watchtower process for enabling understanding and evaluating new external developments and / or emerging issues that may have an impact on Urban Utilities’ strategic and servicing risks.
Evaluate emerging treatment technologies and decentralised servicing models for their economic viability, scalability, and ability to reduce lifecycle costs or defer major infrastructure upgrades.
Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions.
About You
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future and, ideally, have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
You have a growth mindset and are highly collaborative. You will pro-actively engage with stakeholders to align on objectives and deliver outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in developing complex and diverse strategic planning programs within budget and on time whilst maintaining an excellent customer and commercial focus approach.
Demonstrated experience in strategic management, contract management and project management, or alternatively, comparative experience within another relevant sector.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Economics, Business, Treatment, Process and/or a range of applied disciplines.
