As a Senior Manager in our Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Assurance Services (CMAAS) team, you’ll play an important role in delivering technical advisory services focused on assessing business readiness for IPOs, capital raisings, and other complex capital market transactions, helping clients navigate regulatory requirements, financial reporting, and strategic considerations.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health—giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage multiple client engagements, providing strategic oversight and high-level advisory support in IPOs, capital raisings, and capital market transactions

  • Oversee the assessment of clients’ financial reporting processes, regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and operational preparedness to ensure transaction success

  • Drive in-depth analysis of intricate accounting treatments, financial disclosures, and risk areas, delivering insightful recommendations to senior client stakeholders

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client executives and internal teams, facilitating seamless collaboration and decision-making

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their development and contributing to a high-performance team environment

  • Influence the continuous improvement and innovation of CMAAS methodologies, tools, and best practices to advance service quality and effectiveness

  • Prepare and present high-quality reports, technical briefs, and board-level presentations that support client decision-making and regulatory submissions

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience (minimum 6-8 years) in technical accounting, corporate finance, advisory, or audit roles, with substantial exposure to capital markets transactions, IPO readiness, or related advisory services

  • Deep expertise in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and market practices relevant to capital markets and public offerings

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios and provide senior-level insight and advice

  • Proven leadership and client management experience, adept at building long-term trusted relationships and managing stakeholder expectations

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to executive and board audiences

  • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mentoring and developing others while driving team success

  • Client-focused mindset dedicated to delivering exceptional service and value

What you’ll gain:

  • The opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise.

  • Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work—balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.

  • Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.

  • Generous leave entitlements including four weeks’ annual leave and float public holidays to support your work-life balance.

  • A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.
