Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to lead the delivery of high-value engineering and advisory services across water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure. This role is suited to an experienced professional with strong expertise in asset management, system performance, and infrastructure planning, who can deliver technical solutions, build client relationships, and drive project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of engineering and advisory work across water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure


• Undertake asset assessments (condition, risk, performance) to inform renewal and investment decisions


• Support asset strategies, lifecycle planning, and system performance improvements


• Prepare technical reports, business cases, and recommendations for clients


• Manage project scopes, budgets, and stakeholder engagement


• Build strong client relationships and support business development activities

About You

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or similar) with Chartered status desireable


• 10+ years’ experience in water infrastructure, utilities, or consulting


• Strong background in asset management, asset strategy, or system performance


• Experience delivering technical studies, advisory work, or infrastructure projects


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills


• Commercially aware with the ability to manage projects and identify opportunities


• Proactive, organised, and able to lead workstreams independently
