You'll be joining a Global Leading Managed Service Provider delivering high-quality professional services to enterprise clients. With a strong reputation for delivering complex, project-based IT solutions, the business partners closely with customers to design, build and optimise modern infrastructure environments. Due to the nature of their client base, this role requires candidates to hold, or be eligible to obtain, NV1 security clearance.
Your new role
As a Senior Wintel Engineer within the Professional Services team, you'll play a key role in delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects across a range of customer environments. This is a project-focused, client-facing consulting role where your primary responsibility will be the delivery of scoped project outcomes.
You'll work across core technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualisation platforms and cloud environments, taking ownership of the full project lifecycle from design and planning through to configuration, testing and deployment. You'll act as the technical lead on engagements, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard.
Working closely with customers, internal teams and pre-sales, you'll translate business requirements into technical solutions, provide expert guidance throughout delivery, and act as a senior escalation point where required. This role will involve working with secure customer environments, so you must be an Australian Citizen and either hold or be able to obtain NV1 security clearance.
What you'll need to succeed

Strong experience across Microsoft infrastructure, particularly Windows Server and Active Directory

Hands-on expertise with virtualisation technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V, with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) certification highly regarded

Proven background delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects within an MSP or professional services environment

Strong experience working in project-focused roles, with the ability to deliver across multiple concurrent engagements

Experience working to scope and delivering outcomes in line with Statements of Work (SoW)

Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed technical designs and deliver scalable solutions

Strong customer-facing consulting skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam or Commvault

Broad exposure to storage and hyperconverged platforms (e.g. Nutanix, Dell, Cisco) is highly desirable.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain (or already hold) NV1 security clearance
