The Opportunity
We're looking for a Workday Functional HCM Senior Consultant or Lead with hands -on implementation experience and a strong client delivery focus. You will lead and contribute to Workday HCM implementations, enhancements, and post -production support, partnering with clients to design, configure, and deliver effective solutions that align with business needs.
This role is suited to someone who can work independently, lead workstreams, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and guide solution design and delivery decisions. You will also mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and contribute to the continued growth of our Workday practice.
We're seeking a collaborative and delivery -focused consultant with strong Workday HCM expertise, a solid understanding of HR processes, and a passion for helping clients maximise the value of their Workday investment.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the delivery of Workday HCM implementation and enhancement projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Partner with clients to gather requirements and design Workday solutions aligned to business needs and best practice.
• Facilitate workshops and provide trusted advice on Workday HCM functionality and HR processes.
• Design and configure solutions across Workday HCM, Compensation, and Security, with exposure to Advanced Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, or Talent & Performance modules.
• Lead testing, deployment, and go -live activities, including issue resolution and stakeholder management.
• Collaborate with technical, integration, reporting, and offshore teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Provide post -go -live support and hypercare, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development across the team.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and client expectations to ensure successful delivery.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout engagements.
• Contribute to the growth of the Workday practice through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering Workday HCM implementations in a consulting or client -facing environment.
• Current Workday HCM certification(s) or equivalent Workday expertise.
• Hands on implementation and/or configuration experience across Workday HCM, Core Compensation, and Security.
• Good to have - experience with any of the following modules - Advanced Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, and Talent & Performance modules.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, leading solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
• Strong problem -solving, communication, and relationship -building skills.
• Experience leading workstreams and mentoring junior consultants.
• A collaborative, proactive, and delivery -focused approach.
