Job Description - Serenade CafÃ© Assistant - Monday afternoon Volunteer, Cardiff

Do you love the smell of coffee, the joy of community, and the magic of music? Then come join us at Serenade CafÃ©, where the kettleâs always on, the smiles are warm, and the tunes are flowing!

Weâre looking for cheerful volunteers to help run our community cafÃ© â and if you enjoy a good sing\-along, youâll fit right in! Whether itâs humming along to golden oldies or leading a chorus of âYou Are My Sunshine,â music is a big part of the Serenade CafÃ© experience.

What Youâll Be Doing:

â¢ Welcoming guests and serving tea, coffee, and treats

â¢ Helping set up and pack down the cafÃ© space

â¢ Joining in or helping lead light\-hearted sing\-alongs

â¢ Creating a warm, inclusive, and musical atmosphere

Whether you're a retiree, student, or someone with a few hours to spare, Serenade CafÃ© is the perfect place to make a difference â one cuppa and one chorus at a time.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

Mondays fortnightly 1:30pm â 3:30pm

18 years or older â¢ National Volunteer Police Check arranged and NDIS Worker Screening Check paid for by HammondCare â¢
