Work on premium horse and motorsport transporters in a stable, growing business known for quality craftsmanship and specialist vehicle builds. We’re looking for a hands-on Technician / Coachbuilder to join our Coomera workshop, carrying out servicing, repairs, fit-outs, and fault-finding on high-end custom transporters.
This role will suit someone with experience in heavy vehicles, coachbuilding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, or specialist transport equipment who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys varied, practical workshop work.
Key Responsibilities
Work hands-on with some of Australia's most impressive horse and motorsport transporters, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standards.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and component-related issues, keeping our specialist vehicles performing at their best.
Install, fit, and commission a wide range of vehicle systems, equipment, and custom features.
Conduct detailed inspections and proactively identify maintenance requirements before they become issues.
Deliver quality repairs and modifications that meet manufacturer specifications and Wade Group's renowned standards of craftsmanship.
Uphold a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in coachbuilding, engineering, mechanical trades, or a related field, with a passion for quality workmanship.
Experience working with trucks, buses, heavy transport equipment, commercial vehicles, or specialist vehicle builds.
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify practical solutions.
Hands-on capability in welding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings.
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulics would be highly regarded.
A positive, safety-focused team player who can work independently, takes pride in their work, and has a keen eye for detail.
