The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our team in St Arnaud Victoria in early 2025, to lead our growing service and workshop operations. This is your opportunity to take the next step in your career pathway, or the opportunity for your next challenge.

As we are a single brand business, Goldacres, you get the opportunity to become a specialist in a single brand as opposed to being stretched across multiple brands. 

This is an all-encompassing role; you lead the Service Workshop, you are responsible for the people, for their safety, for customer service, for continuous improvement, and so on, and as our service workshops are a key revenue generator, you must understand the numbers.

This very rare opportunity presents itself as we invest in and grow our Goldacres Sprayer Centre businesses nationally. 

The Role

We summarise some of the accountabilities for this role below; however, you will need to be able to cover all aspects of the workshop operations:

• Lead and manage the service workshop, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and mentoring.
• Foster a safe work environment, whether that is in the service workshop, on-farm, or when travelling.
• Foster a customer-centric culture within the service team. 
• Monitor and evaluate the service team’s performance.
• Provide accurate diagnosis and estimate repairs and maintenance to clientele.
• Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of Goldacres products and services.
• Act as the point of escalation for complex customer issues.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on service performance.
• Proactively identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Assist clients with technical support and assistance after hours as required.

• Raven XRT radar height control
• Onboard and remote diagnostic capabilities

Our goal is to be able to fit the majority of these technologies in our Goldacres Sprayer Centre Workshops.
