The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Workshop / Field Service Supervisor to lead our Field Service operation in Mackay.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a team of 26 Field Service & Workshop Technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.

You'll be responsible for driving operational performance across safety, utilisation, WIP management, quality, customer satisfaction and team development, while building strong relationships with customers and supporting the continued growth of the Mackay branch.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Supervisor, Leading Hand or Service Coordinator looking to join a global OEM with genuine long-term career opportunities.

Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 4:00pm

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of 26 Field Service Technicians.


• Managing daily field service operations, including WIP, utilisation, productivity and work quality.


• Building strong customer relationships through proactive communication and regular repair updates.


• Driving a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with Komatsu HSE standards.


• Monitoring operational performance, quote variance and expense control.


• Working closely with internal departments to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.


• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department.

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification within the heavy equipment, diesel or mechanical industry.


• Previous experience leading field service, maintenance or workshop teams.


• Strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance operations.


• Demonstrated leadership and people management capability.


• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.


• Strong commercial awareness, including WIP and productivity management.


• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.


• Previous experience within mining, construction or heavy equipment industries.


• Previous Komatsu or OEM experience will be highly regarded.
