ABOUT THE JOB

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Engineer to join Andrews in a full-time position on the Gold Coast. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring the successful execution of projects in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, project plans, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate effectively with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports to track milestones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting processes for ongoing projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• MANDATORY: A degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of on-site commercial construction experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
• Adaptable with a robust attitude toward change and challenges.
• Solid computer literacy, including familiarity with construction software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
