About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise across Workplace technologies, M365, and modern digital productivity platforms. This is a pivotal role within Medibank’s Performance, Architecture & Innovation (PAI) team, responsible for shaping solution plans and architectural direction that enable business-outcome focused delivery across the organisation.

You will play a critical role in uplifting our endpoint environment (Windows 11, macOS, and mobile), maturing our M365 ecosystem, and defining foundational guardrails for Power Platform and Copilot Studio to ensure safe, scalable and compliant adoption of our next-generation workplace tools. This is an initial 6-month contract with a day rate of $1200 incl super.

Experience & Technical Skills

7+ years in Solution Architecture, delivering business-focused, multi-system solutions.

Proven experience with Workplace technologies, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, endpoint management and modern device strategies.

Strong understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe, applied pragmatically in delivery settings.

Experience designing solutions across both agile and waterfall environments.

Familiarity with integration approaches (APIs, microservices, SOA), SaaS models, and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).

Soft Skills

Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify technical complexity.

Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing capabilities.

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple parallel deliverables.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

Ability to drive alignment across varied teams and perspectives.
