Job Description

  • Full-time or part-time (4 days) position until March 2027
  • Hybrid – flexible working options available 
  • Camden, Campbelltown, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee (Travel required) on the lands of the Dharawal People

Your role, your impact

Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? Each needs an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you'll: 

  • Deliver supports, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals, using evidence informed best practice.  
  • Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.  
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills. 
  • Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.  
  • keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system. 
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans. 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues. 
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme

  • Passion – we value your extensive knowledge and understanding of Child Development and you will use this knowledge, holistically in your observations, assessment and professional judgement when working with children and their families.
  • Competitive pay - $85k negotiable, plus generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550   
  • No Billable hours – We focus on quality support.
  • Flexible working – Work fulltime or part time 4 days a week. After full training and caseload, the opportunity to work from home, in the community and agreed days in the office will be offered.
