We are currently looking for a Storeperson for our brand new Ravenhall warehouse.  This role is responsiblethe efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within the warehouse or distribution centre. This role involves receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring goods are stored safely and systematically. The Storeperson plays a key role in supporting operational flow, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to workplace organization through 5S practices—Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation


• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to schedule


• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records in warehouse systems


• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely


• Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace


• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with cycle counts


• Ensure goods are stored securely and in compliance with safety standards


• Report damaged or missing items and assist in resolving discrepancies


• Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow standard operating procedures


• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment


• Computer literacy (e.g., for inventory systems or scanners)


• Forklift license


• Good physical fitness – ability to lift, move, and handle goods safely


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious


• Knowledge of SAP and/or warehouse management systems is an advantage
