About this Opportunity
Join a unique and rewarding role that combines intake, service navigation, counselling, community response, and suicide prevention into one impactful position.
As part of the Gippsland Support After Suicide Postvention team, you will provide direct support to individuals bereaved by suicide while leading community education, capacity-building, and development initiatives across the Gippsland region. You will build strong referral pathways across health, social, and community services and work collaboratively with local groups to implement the Gippsland Suicide Response Community Guidelines.
This role sits at the intersection of suicide postvention and prevention, helping to create connected, resilient communities that can provide meaningful support following a suicide and identify those at risk. Reporting to the Program & Practice Co-ordinator, this is an opportunity to make a lasting difference for individuals, families, and communities across Gippsland.
