Systems Accountant

Finance Systems Analyst role offering hybrid working + 9 day fortnight Your new company
A well-established organisation operating within a highly regulated and operationally complex environment is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join their Brisbane-based finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting, optimising and enhancing the organisation's core finance systems and reporting capability. The business offers genuine flexibility, a collaborative culture and the opportunity to take ownership of a key finance systems function while partnering closely with finance and operational stakeholders.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will act as the functional support for the finance system, ensuring it continues to meet both current and future business needs.
Key responsibilities include:

• Functional administration and ownership of the finance ERP system
• Data extraction, report building and dashboard development
• Supporting and improving end-to-end finance processes through system enhancements
• Gathering business requirements and supporting future system development phases
• Acting as the key finance liaison for system architecture, reporting and integrations
• Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures
• Training and supporting end users across the business
• Troubleshooting and resolving system, reporting and process issues
• Driving continuous improvement and efficiency across finance systems

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or Commerce
• Experience administering TechnologyOne or a similar large-scale ERP system
• Strong understanding of finance processes and how systems support reporting and controls
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data and deliver meaningful insights
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging stakeholders and delivering training
• Exposure to project, change or systems improvement initiatives is advantageous

What you'll get in return

• $110k - $130k + super, depending on experience
