Team Coordinator - Risk and Compliance

Job Description - Team Coordinator - Risk and Compliance

Description

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Team Coordinator in our Risk and Compliance team, you’ll play an important role in providing high-quality coordination, administrative and business support to our General Managers and their business units.

You’ll be a trusted point of connection across the team, helping coordinate meetings, papers, reporting, events, travel, documentation, registers and day-to-day business activities. Your ability to build strong relationships, use sound judgement and keep things moving will help the team deliver timely, accurate and professional outcomes.

This is a great opportunity if you enjoy variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing polished, confidential and reliable support. You’ll be part of a purpose-led organisation where your contribution helps teams work effectively behind the scenes, so we can continue helping our members feel confident about their financial future.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

  • Provide professional and confidential office management support to General Managers and their business areas.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, including meeting papers, room bookings, catering, administration and follow-up activities.
  • Support the preparation and submission of regular papers, presentations and reporting, including editing, formatting and document review.
  • Coordinate business area administration across finance, people and culture, payroll, compliance training and management reporting.
  • Maintain team documentation, filing systems, lists, charts, databases, training registers and other operational records.
  • Coordinate team activities, events, training registrations, travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Support budgeting, account reconciliation, invoicing, corporate card administration and purchasing activities.
  • Coordinate meetings with external parties, contractors, suppliers, auditors and cross-business groups.
  • Provide guidance, data, assistance and advice to other business areas when required.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to help deliver timely, accurate and professional outcomes.

Qualifications

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You have experience managing sensitive, confidential and time-critical administrative or reporting activities.
  • Your planning and organisational skills help you manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • You'll bring strong attention to detail across written communication, formatting, spelling, grammar and presentation.
  • You're confident using Microsoft Office and can quickly learn new systems, including SharePoint.
  • You use sound judgement and can work with minimal supervision when needed.
  • Your interpersonal skills help you communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You'll bring resilience, enthusiasm and a professional approach to everything you do.
  • You're comfortable working under pressure and keeping things on track in a busy environment.
  • You may have experience or an interest in financial services, governance, risk and compliance, or audit.
  • Your experience with software applications beyond Microsoft Office would be beneficial.
