Team Leader HVAC Cleaning

Darwin, Northern Territory | $95,000 + super + vehicle, phone & laptop | Interstate applicants welcome

Our client is an established Darwin-based company with 28 years in the industry, specialising in HVAC hygiene, air-conditioning system cleaning, duct cleaning, mould remediation and indoor air-quality services across commercial, industrial, government and Defence facilities. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join their team in Darwin.

Applications are welcome from all Australian states and territories. The successful applicant will be required to relocate to Darwin.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC cleaning technicians and service teams
  
  


• Coordinate employees, equipment and daily work schedules
  
  


• Conduct site inspections and ensure work meets company and client standards
  
  


• Oversee the cleaning of HVAC units, filters, coils, ventilation systems and ductwork
  
  


• Manage mould-remediation, high-access and specialised hygiene projects
  
  


• Ensure compliance with WHS, Defence-site and client requirements
  
  


• Prepare service reports, photographs and job documentation
  
  


• Communicate professionally with clients and site representatives
  
  


• Train, mentor and support technicians and cleaning personnel
  
  


• Monitor project quality, safety and completion requirements
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Australian citizenship (required for Defence-site access)
  
  


• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and any required Defence security or site clearances
  
  


• Demonstrated supervisory experience in HVAC services, HVAC cleaning, mechanical services, facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning
  
  


• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
  
  


• Current Australian driver's licence
  
  


• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  
  


• Ability to coordinate employees and manage multiple projects
  
  


• Willingness to work flexible hours when required
  
  

Highly Regarded

• Experience working on Defence, government, commercial or industrial sites
  
  


• HVAC hygiene, air-conditioning cleaning or duct-cleaning experience
  
  


• NADCA or IICRC training or accreditation
  
  


• Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space certifications
  
  


• Construction White Card
  
  


• Experience in mould remediation and indoor air-quality services
