Team Leader, Policy Services - 12 months

As Team Lead, Policy Services, you’ll lead a team that supports policy renewals and new business activity while helping people grow, develop and succeed. This is an opportunity to bring your leadership style to a team navigating exciting change, including new ways of working and system transformation. You’ll balance operational performance with people development, creating an environment where individuals feel supported, engaged and empowered to deliver great outcomes every day.  

This is a 12-month max-term full-time role based in Naarm (Melbourne) or Boorloo (Perth). 
 
What You'll Do 
 
• Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service outcomes while fostering a positive, inclusive and high performing culture. 
• Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, capability building and tailored development plans that support growth. 
• Manage workflow, priorities and performance to ensure service standards, operational targets and customer expectations are consistently met. 
• Support your team through business change initiatives, helping them build confidence and adapt to new processes and systems. 
• Collaborate with specialists, leaders and stakeholders to solve problems, improve outcomes and deliver a seamless customer experience. 
• Monitor quality, identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, capability and service delivery. 
 
What You'll Bring 
 
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching or developing people in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships. 
• Resilience and adaptability when navigating change and shifting priorities. 
• Energy, enthusiasm and proven ability to create a positive team environment  
• Curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to learn.
