Technical Accounting Specialist

• Join a leading ASX listed infrastructure organisation at the forefront of their industry
• Lead the development of the finance functions technical advisory team
• Opportunity to work across M&A, Group Reporting and supporting broader finance teams

Salary on offer: $160k - $180k including super + bonus opportunity

Key responsibilities:

• Lead due diligence for M&A and divestment activities
• Review and development of external statutory reporting deliverables
• Establish and update accounting policies for the Group
• Develop and enhance technical expertise, including emerging accounting & disclosure issues
• Provide accounting advice to the broader financial reporting team
• Report to the Group's Board and Audit Committee and partner with other Senior Executives

About you:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Big 4 or mid-tier trained is desired, with strong knowledge in AASB/IFRS
• Proven experience delivering transactional accounting advice and M&A accounting
• Strong communicator and ability to influence stakeholders
• Ability to coach and manage direct reports
