About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Technical Claims Specialist - Property. You will manage a portfolio of complex cases, conduct activities to ensure a high quality service delivery and provide expert technical guidance and be a point of referral for adjusters and the client(s) to ensure the provision of a high-quality claims service that supports efficient and effective service delivery.

Please note the internal position is Technical Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on property claims (domestic and commercial)
• Manage a caseload of complex claims to achieve timely and cost-effective outcomes
• Oversee Administration team performance, ensuring KPI, SLA, and quality compliance
• Coach and support colleagues to build capability and maintain high standards
• Conduct claims audits and identify opportunities for improvement
• Analyse trends and drive process and system improvements
• Handle escalations and disputes, ensuring effective resolution
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, brokers, and suppliers
• Promote a customer-first approach aligned with company values

About You

• Experience in property claims handling (essential)
• Background in customer service
• Insurance qualification (Certificate level or above)
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in quality/audit (desirable)
• Highly organised, resilient, and solutions focused
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a collaborative approach
