Technical Lead - .NET & Azure | Asset Management Applications Your new company
Hays is partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint an experienced Technical Lead / Team Lead to drive delivery across a suite of business-critical Asset Management and Reliability applications.This is a high-impact role, leading a globally distributed development team supporting maintenance planning and asset risk systems that operate across multiple regions.

Your new role
Reporting to the Product Line Manager, you will take ownership of delivery across a portfolio of Azure-based applications, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned to business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of 5-6 developers across multiple time zones.
• Drive Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and structured handovers
• Act as the key point of escalation, proactively identifying risks and resolving issues early.
• Provide strong technical leadership across .NET (latest frameworks) and Microsoft Azure environments
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and alignment
• Maintain delivery momentum through hands-on involvement in complex or critical development tasks where required

What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience leading distributed or global development teamsStrong technical expertise in C#, .NET, Azure and modern cloud-based architectures
Solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, sprint planning and backlog management
Demonstrated ability to manage delivery risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working within onshore/offshore delivery models (preferred)
A proactive mindset with the ability to drive accountability and delivery outcomes.
