About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Technical Officer to support the delivery of teaching and research outcomes within our mechanical workshop facilities. Working under the direction of the Manager or Lead Technical Officer, you will manufacture, maintain and repair specialised equipment, provide technical guidance to staff and students, and ensure workshop operations are safe, efficient and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a collaborative environment that supports innovation, learning and research excellence.

This is a full time continuing opportunity primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary
HEW 5 – Base range - $82,415.66 - $92,456.55 + 17% super. Full package range - $96,426.31 - $108,174.16.
