Job Description - Technical Sales Representative


Summary

This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our presence across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. This is a hybrid sales and technical role where you will work closely with builders, developers, architects, installers and internal stakeholders to deliver complete façade solutions, while also supporting growth opportunities within targeted segments such as modular construction.

What you'll do


  • Manage EQUITONE specifications from tender stage through to installation and completion

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, installers and project partners

  • Provide technical advice, site support, installation guidance and after-sales assistance

  • Conduct site inspections, prepare reports and collect customer feedback

  • Collaborate with distributors, internal sales, marketing and technical teams

  • Identify competitor specifications and support conversion strategies

  • Provide project and technical support outside the core region when required

What you'll bring

You are a confident communicator who can balance commercial outcomes with technical credibility. You enjoy working autonomously in the field, while also being a strong team collaborator.


 



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction or building materials industry

  • At least 2 years’ experience in technical sales or a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of façade systems (ventilated façades and fibre cement highly regarded)

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical documentation

  • Proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A proactive, organised and solution-oriented approach

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
