We have an exciting opportunity for a Travel Insurance Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis within our Travel & Tourism business.

Your role at a glance

What does every day look like for you?

• Provide expert advice and sell domestic and international travel insurance policies to RAC members and customers.

• Maintain a high level of knowledge across all travel insurance products, policies, and procedures.

• Manage customer enquiries via phone, email, voicemail, and face-to-face interactions in line with service standards.

• Process insurance quotes, policy documentation, and payments accurately and within agreed timeframes.

• Follow up insurance quotes within 48 hours to maximise conversion rates.

• Cross-sell and refer supplementary RAC products to ensure customer needs are fully met.

• Complete general administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining compliance with RAC operating procedures.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience in a travel, tourism, insurance, or telephone-based sales environment (highly desirable).

• Strong sales capability with a demonstrated ability to maximise conversion rates.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, work to deadlines, and perform well under pressure.

• High attention to detail and accuracy when processing policies and payments.

• A self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment.

• An accredited Travel & Tourism qualification is desirable but not essential.
