Turn the channel to friendshipâand make someone's week a hit!

Weâre seeking a friendly social volunteer to enjoy weekly one-hour visits with a lovely lady who enjoys socialising and keeping up with her favourite television programs, especially Dr Phil.

She would love someone to share a chat, discuss lifeâs ups and downs, and enjoy friendly companionship. Whether you're talking about the latest episode, sharing stories, or simply enjoying a cuppa together, your visit could brighten her day and provide valuable social connection.

If you enjoy great conversation, a listening ear, and making a meaningful difference in someoneâs life, weâd love to hear from youâyour visit could be the highlight of her week.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older â¢ National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare â¢

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week-

Monday to Sunday

Flexible times: anywhere between 9am and 4pm

30 minutes to 1 hour per visit
