Capacity is backed locally and all claims processing is based in Australia.

About the role

• Deliver profitable growth through achievement of financial KPIs relating to production, profitability and expenses including new business conversion, target loss ratios and target retention.
  


• Develop professional and productive relationships with Brokers and Stakeholders  
  


• Prepare quotations, renewals and endorsements within underwriting guidelines
  


• Provide support to Junior Underwriters
  


• Get involved with process and procedure improvements 
  

About you

• Proven experience in Financial Lines Underwriting or Broking with Professional Indemnity
  


• Ideally come from an Underwriting Agency background
  


• Solid market relationships with intermediaries
  


• Strong technical knowledge
  


• Proven track record in managing and developing broker relationships
  


• Ability to drive a culture of service excellence
  


• Strong interpersonal skills - particularly collaboration and engagement skills
  


• Sound communication skills - including written and presentation skills
