Venue Manager

We're looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead one of Australia's most iconic brewery venues. This is a role for someone who thrives in hospitality, loves building great teams, and knows how to create memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door.

You'll be the heartbeat of the venue. Someone who's warm, hands on and commercially savvy, with the ability to bring together our front of house, events and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional service every day.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the venue, balancing people leadership with commercial performance and operational excellence. You'll play a key role in shaping the guest experience while continuing to build a culture where our team can do their best work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading a customer first culture that delivers exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences


• Coaching, developing and inspiring your team, both operationally and culturally


• Driving strong commercial performance while delivering operational excellence


• Championing a positive safety culture and leading by example


• Building strong connections between the venue, LION, the brewery and the Little Creatures story


• Fostering meaningful relationships with the local community and supporting venue partnerships

About you

You'll be an experienced hospitality leader who knows how to bring energy to a venue, build high performing teams and create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

You'll also bring:

• Proven experience leading a large hospitality venue


• A genuine passion for hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences


• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing venue costs and driving results


• The ability to stay calm, adaptable and positive in a fast-paced environment


• A hands-on leadership style and a willingness to jump in wherever needed


• A passion for developing people and building a strong team culture
