We’re looking for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join our friendly, supportive and down-to-earth team in Hendra.

Our purpose-built clinic reopened in August 2024, and we’ve loved becoming part of the local community. About the Clinic

Our modern, purpose-built facility has been designed to support high-quality patient care and includes:

• 5 spacious consult rooms

• 2 fully equipped surgical theatres

• Large treatment area

• Dedicated isolation ward

• Separate cat ward

• ICU and HCU facilities

• DR X-ray and dental X-ray

• MyLab ultrasound

• In-house IDEXX laboratory

• Tonometry and extensive in-house equipment

About You

We’re looking for a veterinarian who is:

• Qualified and registered to practise in Queensland

• Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in small animal practice, although confident recent graduates are welcome to apply

• Passionate about providing high-quality patient and client care

• A strong communicator and team player

• Enthusiastic about learning, developing and growing clinically

• Adaptable, positive and keen to contribute to a fun team culture

• Someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and their pets

An interest in abdominal ultrasonography would be a bonus. Our Lead Clinician has extensive ultrasound experience, and the wider team is currently undertaking further education and training in this area.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible hours to support the right person.
