Caring Vets is a small but busy GP clinic in the beautiful Camden area. Our team of 3 Vets and 6 nurses are looking for a Vet Nurse superstar to come on board on a casual basis. We see a variety of interesting cases, with many advanced surgeries like TTA’s and BOAS surgery kept in house.   

The successful applicant will have:     

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and a minimum of 1 years' clinical experience
• A commitment to excellent standards of care
• Preferably experience with Ezyvet
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Have a positive attitude

 Your key responsibilities:     

• Supporting the veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including restraint, blood collection, IV catheter placement, anaesthetic monitoring and cleaning of the hospital.
• Customer service tasks, including booking of appointments, admission and discharge of hospital patients, answering queries over the phone and processing payments.
• Provide a warm and empathetic first impression for clients in reception.
• Ad hoc administrative duties.
