Part-Time Veterinary Nurse – Maternity Leave Position 

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team in a part-time maternity leave position through to April 2027.

Our clinic is a busy GP practice with a supportive family-style culture and a strong focus on high standards of patient care. We currently have a team of three full-time vets, one part-time vet, and a wonderful nursing team that we are excited to grow.

This role would suit a qualified nurse who is confident and capable across all aspects of nursing, including:

• Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring

• Nurse consultations and patient care

• Reception and client communication

The position is part-time, with opportunities for additional shifts and some weekend work available.

We are passionate about training and mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals and regularly support veterinary nursing students through placements within the clinic. A willingness to contribute to a positive learning environment would be highly valued.

About You: 

• Qualified Veterinary Technician/Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Friendly, compassionate, and professional approach

• Passionate about patient care and client experience
