Village Support Person

Your Role as Village Support Person (Maintenance)  

You’ll deliver this role by:  

• General onsite maintenance (repairs, gardening and cleaning) 

• Set up and clean activity spaces to support village functions and daily activities 

• Safely transport residents using village vehicles

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in cleaning services, with practical knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safe work practices 

• A genuine understanding of, and respect for, older people, with the ability to work in a supportive and compassionate way 

• The ability to work independently and within a team 

• Current QLD Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work 

Essential Requirements 

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) 

• Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
