ME Medical Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full time VR GP to move to a country town 2 hours drive from Brisbane.
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Vocational Registered General Practitioner (VR GP) with FRACGP or ACRRM or GPs eligible for Expedited Pathway to join a dynamic medical practice. *Responsibilities:*
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary healthcare services to individuals and families across all age groups.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualised treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory conditions, mental health disorders, and preventive health issues.
- Deliver preventive care services such as immunizations, health screenings, risk assessments, and health promotion education.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals (e.g., nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists) to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement projects, and audit activities to ensure adherence to best practice standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of medical advancements and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and clinical decision-making processes.
- Uphold ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., Privacy Act, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards).
*Requirements:*
- Vocational Registration as a General Practitioner with FRACGP or ACRRM certification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and valid Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated experience in general practice, including managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Strong clinical competence in diagnosis, treatment, and preventive medicine.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Medical Director, Accuro, or Best Practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call duties and emergency care as required.
