Warehouse All-Rounder | Exhibition Industry | Yatala QLD
Full Time Permanent
What's In It For You
- $30 – $36 per hour based on experience — above award, paid fairly for the work you do
- Full time permanent role — stable employment with a growing company
- Variety every day — no two projects are the same, you'll never be bored
- Small supportive team — your effort is seen and valued here
- Room to grow — potential to move into other roles for the right perso
About the Role
You'll be joining our warehouse team to prepare, manage, and pack exhibition stands and display components for events across Australia. Your day-to-day will include:
- Prepping show orders — picking, packing, and manifesting to a packing list with precision
- Learning our stock — aluminium framing, furniture, flooring, counters, joinery items and display components — and knowing what goes where
- Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and manage our racking system
- Wrapping and strapping pallets and ensuring everything is secure for transport
- Heavy manual handling and lifting is required — joinery items, counters, and exhibition components can be substantial
- De-prepping returned shows — checking hire items back into stock, cleaning, labelling, sorting and storing
- Occasional deliveries to convention centres and venues in our ute or truck
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organised at all times
This role suits someone who can read a packing list, work through a task independently, and cares enough to double-check their own work. Accuracy matters — a missing component has real consequences for our clients.
About Xzibit
At Xzibit we create and deliver high-end exhibition stands and displays for events and trade shows across Australia. Our warehouse team is the backbone of every project — when a stand travels interstate for a show, every component needs to be there, packed correctly, and ready to go.
We're a small, close-knit team and we take pride in doing things properly. If you're someone who takes ownership of your work, follows through, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely supports each other — this could be the role for you.
What We're Looking For
Current forklift licence — essential. This is a core part of the role. Lapsed licence or solid experience needing renewal considered.
- Manual driver's licence (preferred — we have manual vehicles on site)
- MR or HR truck licence (highly regarded — we make occasional show deliveries)
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling and lifting — this is a physical role
- Someone who follows process and doesn't cut corners — we have standards and we expect them to be met
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is everything in this role
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work through tasks without constant direction
- Team player who pitches in, communicates well, and takes ownership
- Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work around show seasons — we always give notice
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- Permanent Australian resident
Helpful but not essential: experience in exhibitions, events, construction, or a trade background.
