The Role
The role of the Warehouse Coordinator is to ensure that Warehouse Day to day functions are carried out efficiently and effectively at our Mount Isa Acid Plant.

• Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations, including Dangerous goods storage and transportation.


• Receipt and issue of materials


• Action all discrepancies identified in the inventory, including damaged items etc


• Safe and effective storage of materials.


• Delivery of goods to customer drop off points.


• Ensure that Dangerous Goods are effectively receipted, stored and distributed in accordance with the relevant Dangerous Goods Code and legislation.

What you’ll bring

• You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture


• Experience in Warehousing Operations in a Heavy Industry Environment


• Driver’s Licence (HR Preferred)


• Forklift Licence.


• Advanced Knowledge of Warehousing principles


• Strong computer literacy, including SAP experience


• Understanding of Hazardous Materials Management and Dangerous Goods Legislation

The Site

Our Sulphuric Acid Plant at Mount Isa collects cleans sulphur dioxide before converting it first to sulphur trioxide, then to liquid sulphuric acid. The acid is then railed to Phosphate Hill in specially designed GATX wagons. The Sulphuric Acid Plant has the capacity to produce 3,700 tonnes per day and is committed to producing it without harm to people or the environment.
