About the Role
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is a key part of the Adelaide Supply Chain Team located at our Dudley Park Manufacturing Plant. You will be responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Finished Goods Warehouse, including management of a small team.
What You’ll Do
Ensure allocation of day shift orders are completed
Co-ordinate the loading of orders in containers or trucks
Promote continuous improvement activities to improve operations
Prepare monthly management report – factory expenses, overtime, absenteeism, forklift costs, health centre visits etc.
Conduct stock analysis on finished goods to the SAP system against physical stocks
Provide reporting analysis on variances to stock takes
Responsible for ensuring all containers and trucks are loaded as per Electrolux loading standards
Responsible for the accurate scanning of all allocated product and the accurate loading of all transport vehicles
Ensure priorities for shipping to locations as per service transaction orders in full and on time
Liaison directly with transport companies regarding dispatch and delivery of containers
Responsible for the daily co-ordination and management of dispatch and delivery time slots
Preparation of and management of quarantine stock
Delivery of test units to life testing for R&D
Ensure production lines are kept clear at all times to not bottle neck the lines
Respond appropriately to urgent requests for units and liaise directly with assembly supervisors and R&D Engineers
Responsible for the preparing and maintaining an efficient layout and product locations within the warehouse
Monitor house keeping standards and 5s requirements
Administer the Kronos time keeping system for warehouse personnel
Ensure that EMS, BPD, and KPI boards are maintained.
Monitor labour requirements and maintain sufficient levels for dispatch and distribution
Implement and maintain leave management plan
Monitor absenteeism and lateness and provide counseling and/or discipline where appropriate
Investigate any damage that occurs through handling
Who You Are
Supervisory experience in a large/medium manufacturing environment
Experienced in warehouse operations
Understanding of SAP system is desired but not essential
Knowledge of OTM (Oracle Transport System)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions
Qualifications in Supply Chain & Logistics will be highly regarded
Australian working rights is a must have requirement
