Reliable Hire is a locally owned and operated company that supplies specialist rental equipment to the building and construction industry in the Wide Bay and Fraser Coast regions. Due to their increased demand for their equipment and services, they are now seeking to employ a Workshop Manager to oversee and ensure the effective management of the hire fleet.

Responsibilities include…

The responsibilities for this position include maximising complete utilization of plant and equipment; leading, mentoring and motivating a superior team capable of dealing with growth, operational challenges and industry dynamics. You will be required to develop and maintain a high level of customer confidence in the company’s products and services to maximize future business and ensure customer satisfaction. Further duties include:

• Manage the maintenance of the hire fleet and ensure equipment compliance.
  


• Management of workshop staff, compliance, commitment and duties.
  


• Provide technical advice in areas of mentoring for staff development and training.
  


• Provide exceptional customer service, including following up with requests and resolving concerns.
  


• Break down services and coordination of after-hours break downs.
  

The ideal candidate will have…

• Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  


• Minimum of 5 years of Staff Management
  


• Knowledge of Access & Earthmoving Equipment
  


• Customer service-focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face.
  


• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
  


• Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
  


• Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
  


• Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
  


• Time management and organisation skills
