As a Lifestyle and Overnight Respite Worker, you’ll play a key role in this mission at our Social Wellness Centre and Overnight Respite Cottage in Winmalee. Be welcomed into a values-led community where compassion, dignity, and purpose drive everything we do. 

Your opportunity 

Part-time (At least 22.5 hours per week) - Day, Afternoon and Weekend shifts.

In this rewarding part-time role, you will: 

• Facilitate engaging lifestyle and recreational activities that promote wellness, independence and joy for older adults, including those living with dementia 

• Provide person-centred support during overnight respite stays, ensuring comfort, dignity and care continuity 

• Contribute to individualised care planning 

• Promote spiritual care and meaningful community connections in a safe, inclusive environment 

• Support a strong safety culture by following best practices and reporting incidents appropriately 

What you’ll bring 

You are a compassionate and proactive team player who brings warmth and creativity to your care. You’re passionate about supporting the wellbeing of older people and creating spaces where they feel valued, safe and engaged. 

• You will also need: 

• A Certificate III in Aged Care (or willingness to obtain) 

• A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (or willingness to obtain) 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in aged care or a similar support role 

• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence (essential) 

• A registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
