Procurement Analyst

The Company

Our client is a growing healthcare organisation with a network of medical centres across Victoria. With a focus on operational excellence, they are undertaking a procurement review project aimed at driving efficiencies, strengthening supplier relationships, and negotiating cost-saving opportunities across the business.

To support this initiative, they are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supplier Review Analyst to join the team on a short-term contract.

The Role

Reporting directly to the COO and working closely with Finance, you will be responsible for reviewing and analysing the organisation's supplier portfolio across multiple operational categories. This is a hands-on project role focused on supplier audits, contract reviews, commercial analysis, and supplier negotiations.

This is a temporary contract commencing ASAP for approximately 4-8 weeks. They are seeking a candidate to support 4 days per week; however, candidates seeking either 3 or 5 days per week will also be considered. Working hours are 9:00am-5:00pm and the role is fully onsite in South Melbourne.

Duties

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of the organisation's supplier and vendor portfolio across multiple operational categories
  * Review existing supplier contracts, pricing structures, and service agreements to identify cost-saving opportunities
  * Lead and support supplier negotiations and contract renegotiations
  * Analyse supplier spend and contract performance using MS Excel-based reporting tools
  * Deliver a comprehensive supplier register and recommendations report at the conclusion of the project

Your Profile

• Previous experience in a similar procurement, contract management, commercial analysis based role - 3 years minimum
  * Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier contracts and achieving commercial outcomes - essential
  * Advanced Excel skills with experience in reporting, spend analysis, and data management
  * Highly autonomous with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  * Experience within healthcare, allied health, primary care, or a multi-site environment - desirable
