Retail Team Member (Part Time)

Looking for a role where no two days are the same, and you get to spend your day helping customers bring their projects to life?

K&B Mitre 10 Norwood is on the lookout for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our team on a part-time basis (25-30 hours per week).

Working across a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, you'll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in creating a great in-store experience for every customer. Whether it's helping someone find the right product, processing a sale, or keeping the store looking its best, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day success of the business.

What you will be doing;

• Assisting customers with product advice and recommendations


• Responding to customer enquiries in-store and over the phone


• Processing sales through the POS system


• Creating and managing special orders and customer deliveries


• Maintaining pricing, signage and promotional displays


• Keeping work areas clean, safe and well presented


• Following OH&S procedures and reporting any hazards or suspicious activity

You’ll likely be a match if you have:

• Has strong customer service skills and enjoys working with people


• Is reliable, motivated and willing to roll up their sleeves


• Brings a positive attitude and works well in a team


• Has basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office


• Has previous retail, customer service or sales experience


• Is comfortable handling cash and using point-of-sale systems


• Holds a forklift licence or trade qualification (advantageous, but not essential)
